Years later, when Douglas realized that a transformation was taking place everywhere - GMOs in food, parabens in creams, and aluminum in deodorants being banned, while the fragrance industry remains hidden - he wanted to create something different: a perfume company that is authentic, sustainable, and radically transparent - who they are, what they make, and how they make it. Douglas sees a unique beauty in natural elements and plants that cannot be replicated. While other companies hide toxic or synthetic substances under the words 'fragrance' or 'perfume', Heretic is more than proud to openly and fully disclose their ingredients.
