Giesen Forsthoff from Solingen is a manufacturer of cutting tools and implements, founded in 1920 by Paul Giesen and Eugen Forsthoff. In 1945, co-founder Forsthoff left the company, which retained the name and has since been run by the Giesen family (3. generation). G+F and Timor today stand for quality products that meet the highest standards, and are regarded as a renowned specialist and global exporter of high-quality hairdressing and manicure items of all kinds. The company is a member of the BSCI (Business Social Compliance Initiative), a new, internationally recognized "association" for the introduction of social aspects in global trade.
