Cocoa butter, a rich fat, helps protect the delicate skin of the lips. The emollient properties of cocoa butter act as a protective barrier by moisturizing and locking in moisture for the lips and skin. It also contains the antioxidant vitamins A, C, and E, which can help slow down the signs of skin aging. Shea butter is a superfood for the skin, derived from the seeds of the fruit of the shea tree (Karite) and is naturally rich in vitamins A, E, and F. It provides the skin with essential fatty acids and the nutrients necessary for collagen production. The essential oil of orange has been shown to promote collagen production and increase blood circulation in the skin. The zesty, sparkling aroma of blood oranges calms the nerves, relaxes the mind, and spreads good cheer.
